Here's a bit of an addendum I just received from Alan:
Alan Liu is an assistant professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering
at Boston University, working on network telemetry, ML systems, and cloud
resource management.
The Telemetry working group will be focusing on obtaining real-world,
cross-layer traces (from network traces to application metrics) for
research on telemetry, Cloud Ops, and machine learning.
