Hi,

tl;dr - new tracker issue for SCaLE 19x CFP responses, offers of help

I believe some of you are interested in submitting for this event and joining us in lovely Pasadena, CA next March.

Are you unsure what to give as a talk? Or worried about writing a good-enough CFP response?

We're here to help. You can contact me directly for any reassurance, at any time. We believe in you and your ideas, and we'll work with you to create a good CFP response. Later, we can hold some training and do reviews for the presentation themselves.

If you have any idea you want to give a talk about, or want to give a talk but don't have an idea yet, please let us know by commenting in this issue:

https://github.com/operate-first/community/issues/100

Fill out as much as you can of your idea.

If you have a solid idea and are ready to get help, or want to be tracked with the other responses, create an issue in the https://github.com/operate-first/community/ repo and then mention that issue # in your comment to link them together.

I appreciate knowing who is working on what so we can coordinate and increase the chances of acceptance for more of us. It's also a chance to help align our messages, reference each other's talks and demos, and so forth.

Kind regards,
- Karsten

Hi all

If you haven't attended or heard of SCaLE, let me introduce you to one
of the best open source ecosystem and community shows on the planet:

https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/19x

We're planning a first-day workshop, something that can highlight the
work we're leading toward landing for KubeCon and Red Hat Summit later
in the year. Details are still being discussed, join in if you are
interested.

For anyone interested in submitting talks, let's coordinate in that
issue as well. We can improve CFPs, co-present around complementary
topics, and generally increase chances of acceptance.

SCaLE is very friendly to new speakers and contributors, is volunteer
run, and is consistently the most diverse open source-related event year
over year. Held now in lovely Pasadena, CA at the Pasadena Convention
Center.

Kind regards,
- Karsten
